Yearly Student Checklist

  
PowerSchool Grades
 ☐ To see your grades in PowerSchool, parents may visit the TSHS Guidance Office any time to sign up and access the Parent Portal at home.
Class Dues ☐ All students in grades 8-12 pay your yearly class dues to Mrs. Addington and Mrs. Meadows.
Yearbooks ☐  Students may pre-order a yearbook each year in Mrs. Keith's room #39.
Dual Enrollment ☐ Students may sign-up to take dual-enrollment high school courses to earn college credit. Pay the guidance office for your dual-enrollment tuition. 
Chromebooks ☐ Student Chromebook are to be picked up and turned into Mrs. Rose-Barnette in the guidance office at the beginning and end of each school year.
Driving Permits ☐ Students who plan to drive or ride to/from school with another student need to pick up a riding/driving permit in the office. It must be renewed at the beginning of each new school year.
SOL Practice Tests ☐ Students may practice for SOL tests by clicking on the TestNav shortcut on your school computer network. Click on practice tests in lower right corner of the sign-in page, click Practice Items, Subject Course, and Start Test. You do not need a password.
School Forms ☐ Students must return the following forms at the beginning of the school year: 1) lunch application, 2) blue forms, 3) updated demographic sheet, 3) military connection forms, 4) two signed student handbook pages, and 5) the local school rules sheet to first block teachers or to the main office.
Food City Rewards Program ☐ Link your Food City Value Card to help TSHS earn money for school supplies. Register your card at https://my.foodcity.com
Seniors  ☐  New college scholarships for seniors are available on the Guidance Department website. Click the Academics link above and visit the guidance office to apply.
